Our client is a reputable, multinational financial institution. For strengthening and further development of their local operations we are looking for a decisive and highly skilled leader for the position of a

General Manager

  • proven experience on similar position ideally within insurance, retail banking, big 4 or similar financial institution
  • good knowledge of local market’s insurance products is advantageous
  • university degree with business orientation
  • fluency in English and PC skills are prerequisites
  • highly organized, hard-working and trustworthy manager with advanced social skills
  • independent, decisive and experienced people manager with high intellectual capacity 
  • capability for creating a stabile local organization and a solid ground for further portfolio development 
Job description:
  • management, organization, control and improvement of local operations 
  • deep analysis of the existing conditions, both internally and externally, and preparation of strategy and operative plans
  • costs and team optimization, correct placement of resources in order to  stabilize local operations, maximize performance and create a stabile ground for further development
  • diversification of product portfolio and new product launches
  • follow up on market development as well as on competitors’ activities, elaborating and implementation of improvement measures
  • streamlining and leading the team
