Finance and Accounting Senior

Requirements:
  • university degree in economy or other finance and accounting related studies
  • ideally 3 years of audit experience from “Big 4” companies, or relevant senior accounting experience from international environment
  • strong knowledge of local statutory accounting, knowledge of IAS
  • experience in financial reporting, financial data analysis, taxation and invoicing
  • experience in managing external suppliers
  • fluency in English 
  • focused and organized, with a positive „can do” attitude, driven by challenges and initiative in work
  • a confident business partner and supporter, able to win respect of others
  • detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to respond and develop ideas of others
  • independent and flexible, with keen attention to detail, while able to see the big picture
 
Responsibilities:
  • partnering local senior management in business development through effective and quality accounting, billing, treasury, tax, payroll and finance functions
  • optimisation of firm’s profit through maximization of revenue, control of costs and setting relevant internal processes
  • support local senior management in decision-making by providing relevant financial data with regular reporting to HQ
  • implementing global policies and procedures, advising on local accounting and tax law
  • preparation and reviewing of all accounting documents and maintenance of financial data bases
  • preparation of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheets and ledgers, treasury, accounting reconciliations based on Serbian and international accounting principles (IFRS)
  • monthly closings, payroll administration, account analysis and bank reconciliations
  • maintaining appropriate management and financial reporting systems
  • collaboration with external partners and auditors
