Distribution and Commercial Manager

 
Requirements:
  • University degree preferably in economy
  • 5+ years of sales and distribution experience in managing wholesale and retail business in pharmacy 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing, coaching and controlling of the people
  • Proven distribution and commercial strengths
  • Strong analytical and selling skills
  • Active listener, problem-solver with initiative and flexible attitude
  • Good communicator with advanced organization skills and time management 
  • Proactive and team oriented with ambition to learn and contribute
  • Ability to travel and willingness for field work 
  • Fluency in English and PC literacy 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Management and development of Supply Chain Officer and Key Accounts Officers
  • Planning and monitoring team's work & performance, and acts like a role model for employees
  • Maintains the relationship and ensures good communication between commercial, supply chain, distributors and pharmacy chains
  • Coordination of Warehouse Management System, development and upgrades 
  • Organizes and supervises existing distributors
  • Finding, negotiating and establishing new distributors
  • Prepares budget and maintains efficient cost control by operating within the operational budget set for the distribution
  • Define the commercial strategy and action plan for the subsidiary in coordination with Marketing, Sales and finance department. 
  • Pharmacy chains management with support of Key account officers
  • Budget follow-up and regular reporting to the manager about the sales performance per customer
  • Responsible for the monitoring and management of stock levels and ensuring deliveries on time and transportation costs
  • Identifying and undertaking initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the full supply chain value from production to distribution at pharmacy level
  • Reports of the analysis of sales in order to challenge distributor and pharmacy heads
